Dr. Purohit is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics at the University of Pennsylvania. The website was devloped reflecting the scientific vision, research accomplishment and academic interests of Dr. Purohit and his group. It also called for a design solution which was more direct and less visually complex. Therefore, graphics were reduced to a minimum which resulted in a content rich website.
